Cup cake anyone? Ladies Card

I decided to make a display card for cupcakes , using acetate

I folded a card using the valleys and mountains techniques, it was total guess work and had three goes.

I then drew some cupcakes and sponges on a sheet of paper and coloured them in using promarkers

I fixed some backing papers to my card and then I stuck the cakes to the card, arranging them like a display.

I then fixed some acetate to the front of card and folded down the back.

Applied some peel offs and theres my finished card, wish I could stick peel offs on straight

Ladies / Teen Card

Today I had a try at making a stand up card, not sure what they`re called. I was working from memory and it took a few attempts to get it right but I think it came out ok

I stamped on image onto white paper and coloured it in using promarkers, purchased from Amazon, they arrived today and I`m pleased with them

I then used my bigshot to cut a scalloped circle which I put around the stamped image.

I attached this to some backing papers I was gifted and attached to kanban card.

I added some fabric flowers from the range using copper brads

I then made a base part, the same as the top of card and added some sentiments.

I was pleased that my card does stand up and folds flat for posting

Book Marks - Ladies & Gents

Today I got my Xyron Creative Station out of storage, and spent some time making bookmarks

They`re to go in Christmas hampers and I wanted to have a trial run

So I printed out some pictures and names using clipart, laminated them and punched a hole, I tied some ribbon through the hole and they turned out quite well

But I know in future, I`ll look out for some tassles, I think they`ll look better

Cruise Wear Jewellery

I love cruises and try to get on one each year if theres a special offer on.

We drive to Southampton and take advantage of their free parking and we always dress quite smart for the boarding photos.

So the other day I made a necklace with a nautical theme, so today I had a go at a matching bracelet and earrings.

I`ll keep these especially for that day now and am quite pleased how they`ve turned out

I`ve taken two photos of these because the green beads on the earrings dont show up in following photo but other colours do

Pots of Snow

I know the weather been nice but the health hasnt been upto much. I wasnt feeling too crafty yesterday so thought I`d have a go at making Pots of Snow

I got the jars in the £1 shop, there was 4 in a pack for a £1 and they wasnt too big.

I basically printed off the vrse and laminated it. Printed a snowman on the some paper for the lid and put a decorative ribbon around.

The result , another thing to add to my Christmas hampers and nearer the time I`ll fill with white bonbons. So it looks like snowballs.

Various cards, children, ladies , gents

I spent the weekend making a selection of cards.

A dog one with matching gift tag, which was a basic white card with a corrigated patch and ears attached and a drawn on face.

A cowboy one which used scraps of backing papers I had lying around , cut into little shirts, trousers, boots , head and hands, all frayed around the edges

Two ladies country scenes, one using Flower Soft and one using Glitter Glue, came out better than I thought actually

I then made a kite card out of some backing papers

This is a Harley Davidson topper with a musical themed background

A ladies card, Retro Lady, using a swatch of fabric

And last but not least, a simple but effective ladies card

All these cards are made using different techniques, I wanted to try something different, I do like them all and since seeing them published here I`ve moved the cowboys moustache....

Jewellery for Daughter and Nautical Themed Necklace

I must admit I enjoyed making these purely because the set of earrings and bracelet was for my daughter, which she loves and because the nautical one I`ve decided to keep for me.

The bracelet is made using memory wire with various size beads, randomly (which is difficult to do) put onto wire.

The earrings were made to match, her choice of colours.

I found the necklace a pleasure to make because I knew what I wanted and after receiving so many lovely comments about my 1st bracelets, about matching outfits etc , I felt I had more confidence to proceed.

I would love for you to tell me what you think, that way I can correct any mistakes.
