Bag charm & Zip Charm

As anyone who knows me knows this is among the 1st things I`ve made with jewellery, I`m learning everyday and am stuggling abit but thanks to the girls on MSE I am trying.

These I found difficult to make with them being so fiddly but I wanted to try using findings as my last bracelets were elastic, I did find it difficult but as you do more it gets easier I suppose

Top Gear Keyrings

As you know by now I`m forever sourcing Top Gear things for hampers

These were really simple to make, I just printed out some pictures, put the boys names on the reverse and put into some clear keyrings
I bought off ebay, they`re done ready for my Top Gear hampers for christmas

Sorry about the quality of the photos but you get the idea dont you

Jar of Nothing - just what you always wanted

I made a jar of nothing this weekend for the one that has everything

Didnt cost anything to make just some time and patience, using an old jam jar and some ribbon

Heres the rhyme:-

JAR OF NOTHING

Did you say nothing?
When you were asked what you wanted for your
Birthday
Don't you remember saying NOTHING
Well this time someone heard you,
searched
high and low
and found this perfect gift for you

Mens Cards

Today I`ve been making a selection of mens cards, I always find it difficult to make mens cards as there seems to be only so many topics to chose from.

I always feel a bit limited, so I hope you enjoy this selection.

Notebooks for the ladies

These are for the ladies for xmas hampers, I`d got some free toppers in a craft magazine and thought I`d use them here

I covered some 9p notebooks from Asda, layered some  backing papers and toppers up and added a small pen by the side (Pens :-£1 for 8) in one of the Pound shops
I`m putting these away for my ladies hamers for christmas
The colours are more vivid than this , but didnt photograph well due to shiny papers

My first attempts at Jewellery Making

I decided to have a go at making jewellery as whoopidoo on MSE made a beautiful bracelet and I loved it so much that I wanted to see what I could make. I`ve also been looking for a green bracelet for weeks that I would like and having found nothing made my own.

I joined the MSE jewellery thread and thanks to some nice friendly people, I had a go.

Here are my first attempts, I posted the one with the strawberry on, but to be honest I`ll probably take it apart because it doesnt sit right on the bracelet.

1st one Strawberry not right

2nd one

My favourite, which is a combination of 3 bracelets together

My 1st watercolour picture framed

As those of you who know me know, I`ve been learning to do watercolours for the past year, I was going to classes but got a bit bored so now I`ve decided to do it myself.

This picture took about 20hrs to complete, because when your a novice I find that it never looks right, but Ive finally finished it.

shout house for free, shout bingo on line, win prizes, meet friends

If you want to waste your time this is the site for you. Spend hours writing drivel for points to play bingo. Its boring, the chat is the worst I`ve ever come across. The site is fixed with the same players winning and it has CM`s that play when they`re in charge of a room and they win.
When you get close to a redeem, they ban you and send accusing emails saying your in a coilition with other people. Its slander. How they work that out I dont know. They just dont like you redeeming.

They`re a bunch of meglomanics and what ever you do dont use capitals THEY "MUZZLE" YOU

To round up, with the phrase they use...a site for dogs, run by dogs.

ON A POSITIVE NOTE:

if you want free bingo, great chat and plenty of rooms go here

WOOHOO BINGO

Heard of sock monkeys??? Heres Marvyn the Zebra

My partner bought me a sewing machine for my birthday as I`m so bad at sewing ( I cant sew a button on without getting in a mess)

Well I opened the box and having never used a sewing machine in my life, I found the instructions were in Spanish. So I sat there for ages trying to thread a needle, then realised it had a bobbin?

I was not happy at all but I`m a very determined person and together with a translation site I decided to make a Zebra out of a pair of socks, I dont know why, sometimes I think I`m nuts but I perservered and the result is Marvyn (madagascar) Zebra.

I am kind of proud of him, but I do realise sewing is not for me, I have the tension all wrong and it kept snapping the cotton, and I havent a clue why but I enjoyed doing it I must admit

Top Gear toothbrushes

I got some toothbrushes from Sainsburys, they were only 10p for 2 and put some sticky letters on, which didnt even work out at a penny.

I glossed the letters with a thin coating of craft gloss so when they`re used the sticky letters will stay on
